How to fit a purlin beam in one easy lesson…
So we decided that having fitted one purlin beam quite easily we would video fitting a further purlin for your entertainment. It was all in the preparation, we balanced the lifting point to keep the beam level, cleared the site of any debris (especially pieces of metal which could puncture the lorry’s tyres) and talked through the plan before we attempted the lift.
We will try to speed up the video in due course as it is a bit like watching paint dry, which will be the subject of a future video…
